„The Ever Changing“ – On the Courage to Transform
„The artwork presented here are fragments of a larger process: The Ever Changing, an oil painting I worked on for over four years – a piece that transformed me. It marks the beginning of a shift from perfectionism and self-destructive patterns toward a more open, life-affirming, and process-driven way of creating.
The focus is not on completion, but on trust – in movement, in transformation. This artistic journey is accompanied by a book that documents and reflects the process. In it, I also tell the story of my former painting mentor, Ralf Kuhn, who was ultimately consumed by his perfectionism. Before his passing, he entrusted me with all of his works. One of them is integrated into my piece The Unended.
What happens when we stop equating judgment with a fear of losing love? When we dare to be seen – imperfect, brave, and open? These questions run through my work like a red thread. I believe that our creative potential is vast – if we allow it to unfold.“
